Custom 'CubeHead' Uni Student Characters

3D cardboard models of stylised students for use as promotional items for a university.

We were approached by a University PhD Marketing Department for ideas to attract more PhD students. They wanted a simple, cheap promo item that was also somewhat challenging! As a result ‘Ruby’ and ‘Sam’ were created as cardboard construction ‘Cubehead’ students! Not only a funky shape for the 3D characters, but if you look closely at the graphics you can see all sorts of detail to bring out the uni student vibe – pens, books, phones, tablet pc’s, MP3 players, backpacks etc. Designed completely in house, and Manufactured right here in Victoria, Australia.
